With Win98, you can have a problem. There are only very limited USB support in Windows 98 If you're unlucky to have Win98 Release 1, you can no luck. If your Win98 press after installing the Windows driver updates are available to manufacturers for the proper Win98 USB-2 receive. Go to their website and look for a link to the downloads.
